At the regional level, the existing legislative framework provides for the management of organic waste.
It uses economic mechanism of impact on enterprises where waste salvage does not qualify nature
conservation requirements. The development of new technologies for organic waste salvage is based
on the principles of sustainable development when improved methods of waste salvage, recovery, and
processing are to be implemented. Such a technology is called vermitechnology. Its implementation
helps to increase competitive growth of enterprises in a market environment. The cost estimation of
vermitechnology production including capital investment for a poultry factory year-over-year showed
the need for investments at the rate of 1,251,700 RUB. When being realized at the foreign market, expected
gains make up 486,500 RUB in the first quarter and amount to 5.3 mln. RUB in a year.
