First two years after the complete felling there is a disintegration of forest herbaceous plants because of a sudden change of light intensity, watering and exchange flux. At the same time there is a process of forming clear cutting aggregation where raspberry and rosebay prevail. This process lasts from three to six years. In future the quantity of these plants runs down in virtue of fast growing of the tree species. As a result of the restocking the plant life is formed in wood-cutting areas at the age of 9−12 years. The soils of tested area is sod-pod and sabulous. The green cover change of clear cutting leads to the slow process of swamping during the first three years. The wood-cutting areas grow over and partly with hardwood undergrowth that leads to the intensive development of soddy process in soil-formation. In our conditions this process is short-term and lasts in wood-cutting areas for 3−7 years. More typical for the forest plants the soil regime sets in due to the fast regeneration of cutover stands with hardwood undergrowth for 9−12 years. In wood-cutting areas of different ages the process of podzolization is less developed than in spruce grove.
