The article considers such important issues as the improvement of the formation of design culture of the future pedagogue in conditions of modern university. One of the effective ways of its solution the author sees in the use of modeling method, which supposes the construction of a system that would function similarly investigated process. The author of the article provides a brief description of the disclosed features and specifics of the functioning of the main structural components of the model (goal, objectives, content and technology of formation, analysis and correction of the result). Noted that all components of the model are interrelated and are functioning in order to achieve a common the final result - improve the efficiency of formation of design culture of the future pedagogue in the course of professional training.
