Coronary artery disease (CAD) is one of the main causes of mortality in the elderly today. To reduce fetal complications in the patients with CAD it is necessary to improve methods of treatment. Modern pharmacological therapy has extensive possibilities in CAD treatment: together with strong vasodilatory drugs affecting the tone quality of the coronary artery the drugs of completely new mechanism of action have appeared.
