The article discusses the current issues of musical education and development of preschool children. The reader is introduced to the specific problems of correlation between preschool education and families. The article also provides some methodological suggestions regarding various forms of interaction with families in order to increase their level of musical and pedagogical culture. That helps parents to develop centain skills to carry out this kind of education by considering children’s abilities and interests.
