The article deals with the notion of a differentiated approach when teaching mathematics to primary school children, peculiarities of use of this approach in the variative curricula and textbooks of mathematics. It contains the results of the experiment on the effect of methods and techniques of a differentiated approach in math class on the level of proficiency of primary school children in mathematics.
