The present work shows the results of studies of preceding crops, mineral fertilizers and biological product effect on yield and grain quality of spring wheat. It was found that when managing spring wheat the best preceding crop on the sod-podzolic medium-loamy soils with high content of mobile phosphorus and potassium, which is close to the neutral reaction of the soil solution and the average content of humus, was red clover with simultaneous application of mineral fertilizers and use of a biological product. With regard to the abovementioned, yield gain from Р60К60 application was 0,11–0,12 t/ha, N30Р60К60 — 0,85–0,99 t/ha, and from seed inoculation with a biological product — 0,29–0,44 t/ha. The best grain quality is shown using the following variant: red clover II year of application + N30Р60К60 + a biological product.
