Plantago lanceolata L. is rather flexible. The species are able to reproduce with the help of both seeds and vegetation – by multi-rosette plant particularion and buds, being formed on the roots of specialized structures of sucker origin. The combination of processes of seed and vegetative reproduction on slopes may be seen as adaptation mechanism in Plantago lanceolata L.
