The article considers the regional aspect of coorelation between rural infrastructure and employment given on the example of the Republic of Mari El. Social problems in rural areas are determined by a sociological research. Some measures to provide agricultural-industrial complex with qualified labour force within the framework «The Development of Agrarian and Industrial Complex» national project are presented.
