The article presents the results of Holstein breed degree influence on milk productivity and reproductive ability of dairy cattle from bred livestock farms of the Republic of Mari El. The research found out that the increase of Holstein breed degree resulted in increasing milking capacity, reducing milk mass concentration and deteriorating slightly reproductive ability of cows.
