The paper offers the results of five-year observation of 15 apple-trees at a small-stature form of 62-396 stock. They show that the climate of the Republic of Mari El enables the apple-trees to grow successfully at a small-stature form of stock, recover from severe winters, fruit in two-three years after planting, subject to the kind.
