In Goncharov studies the statement about a special role of the comic effect in the writer’s artistic system is universally recognized. The research in this field of poetics deals with I. A. Goncharov’s novels. Some linguistic means serving to create the comic effect in the writer’s “small prose” are revealed in the article.
