The article contains a review on the monograph «Slang as a problem of sociolectics» written by A.T. Lipatov, Doctor of Philology, Professor, author of more than 400 scientific works. The main attention is paid to new ideas which A.T. Lipatov contributed to the research in the field of sociolectics.
