The purpose of the study is to analyze zootechnics terminology in terms of its systemic nature. The material of the study is the terms of zootechnics of the English language, taken mainly from the educational course “Agriculture” (over 200 terms). The method of continuous sampling, as well as taxonomic and descriptive methods were used in the work. In the course of the analysis, various groups of terminological units were identified with reliance on extra linguistic and linguistic criteria. From the extra linguistic point of view, in accordance with the structure of science itself, zootechnics terminology can be divided into the following groups: animal nutrition science, animal reproduction science, genetics, animal welfare and behavior. Taking into account linguistic criteria several lexical sets can be revealed in the analyzed terminology. This article is extend of three lexical sets: animal breeding, housing animals, animal nutrition. Special attention is given to description of the term relations based on the semantics and word-building, that prove system character of terminology in question.
