The meteorological vocabulary of the Komi-Permian language, having ancient sources, consists of primordial designations and borrowings. The primordial fund was formed on the basis of internal resources, that of another language – on the basis of external sources. All five structural versions of the studied vocabulary of the basic vocabulary contain borrowings in different quantities. Two groups of meteonyms have the greatest quantity of borrowings – general systemic designations (8 units) and the names of atmospheric precipitations (10 units). Unlike similar lexical-thematic categories of other Permian languages, the analyzed group of meteonyms consists of late borrowings. Early borrowings (ancient-Bulgarian) are absent here. The other-language component of meteorological vocabulary of the Komi-Permian language consists of borrowings of one type, the corresponding designations of the Russian literary language and the neighboring dialects served as a source for them. Words of the Russian origin as meteorological designations are used in the Komi-Permian language either independently, or in combination with primordial components.
